What Does this Mammogram Test Result Mean?

My results for my mammogram were as follows. 2 Adjacent subcentimeter masses are suspected within 9/10 o clock mid position of the right breast as a new finding. Within the left breast a biopsy marker and residual mass reamins within 12/1 oclock anterior position. Elsewhere the right and left breast are unremarkable in apperance. What do you think. I have been reporting lumps in my right breast that was never detected in a 2D mammogram. Not until tuesday did a 3D mammogram pick up the masses in the right breast.

I did review your concern
3D mammograms also known as tomosynthesis provides much higher resolution than 2D mammogram. It can detect tiny lesions which 2D mammorgram cannot detect.
However, confirmation of its pathology requires a tissue diagnosis in form of biopsy or fine needle aspiration cytology. I would recommend that for you in this case under imaging guidance, as the masses are very small and likely to be benign or in very early stage or intraductal tumors.
